Volkswagen

Volkswagen and the Golf GTI, a benchmark for enthusiasts

In 1976, the first Golf GTI defined a whole genre: an everyday hatchback able to outpace more upmarket sports cars, thanks to its fuel-injected engine and sharp chassis. Red grille surround, golf-ball gear knob, tartan seats: its visual cues became cult icons and have carried through the generations.

Around this legend grew a genuine preservation culture, where every trim detail matters. The "Das Original" slogan sums up that mindset, embraced by owners who care about the authenticity of their car.

Our Volkswagen decals

The Volkswagen range is deliberately compact and grows with customer requests:

• "Das Original" sticker: VW logo, slogan and year, to display on your Golf GTI.
• "Volkswagen Das Original" keyring in soft PVC, a STICK-IN design to go with your car keys.

Restoring a Volkswagen and looking for a specific marking not yet in the shop? Describe it to us: many items in the catalogue started as requests from enthusiasts.

Choosing the right spot

Before fitting, choose the spot with the help of photos of well-preserved cars, then dry-fit the sticker with masking tape. Clean the surface, degrease with alcohol and apply in mild weather, out of direct sunlight, pushing air bubbles from the centre outwards.

Like everything we produce, these items are made to order in France within 3 to 7 days, with the attention to detail that only enthusiasts bring.
