Renault 5 Turbo 1 & 2

Renault 5 Turbo: from the road to World Championship stages

Designed to win rallies, the Renault 5 Turbo places a turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder amidships, behind the seats, driving the rear wheels. The Turbo 1, on sale from 1980, stands out with its aluminium doors and opening panels and its highly distinctive Bertone-designed cabin. In 1983 the Turbo 2 kept the same drivetrain but used more parts from the standard R5, making it more affordable.

In competition the R5 Turbo became a legend: Jean Ragnotti drove it to victory on the 1981 Monte Carlo Rally and the 1982 Tour de Corse, before the Maxi evolutions of the Group B era. Today both Turbo 1 and Turbo 2 are highly sought after, and the accuracy of every marking weighs on how a car is judged.

Our stickers for the Renault 5 Turbo

The range combines body markings, competition livery and engine bay technical labels:

• "TURBO" rear window lettering, in two versions: check the compatibility stated on each product page;
• Tour de Corse rally livery kit inspired by Jean Ragnotti's cars, for a replica or a show car;
• Cold tyre pressure label specific to the R5 Turbo;
• Technical labels: battery warning, coolant, Renault servicing recommendation, ELF oil cap;
• Jean Ragnotti signature and Renault Sport keyring (designed by STICK-IN).

Turbo 1 or Turbo 2: a restoration that allows no guesswork

On an R5 Turbo, it pays to document the original state before touching anything: photos of every sticker in place, positions marked with masking tape, notes on colours. Aluminium or composite body parts need gentle degreasing, without harsh solvents. For a rally kit, fit the large items first, then the small markings, using photos of the car you wish to recreate as a reference.

All our items are faithful reproductions, made to order in France within 3 to 7 days by R5 Turbo enthusiasts.
