Twingo 1

The Twingo 1, a city car turned cult classic

Unveiled in autumn 1992, the first Twingo shook up its segment with its round-headlight monospace shape, sliding rear bench and bright colours that stood out against the grey 1990s. Under the bonnet it successively received the 1.2 C3G derived from the "Cléon-Fonte" engine, then the 1.2 D7F and finally a 16-valve version. The model went through several phases, the last one, from October 2004, getting a revised tailgate with its own lettering.

Renault launched countless limited editions of the Twingo, often identified by nothing more than a small logo on the front wings above the indicator repeaters or on the tailgate. Those small details, frequently faded or missing, are exactly what a trained eye notices.

Our decals for the Twingo 1

The range covers the most requested markings:

• "Twingo" tailgate lettering in two versions: Twingo 1 up to September 2004, and phase 4 from October 2004.
• Special-edition logos: "Kenzo" (single or as a set of 3 for tailgate and wings), "United Colors of Benetton", "Jungle" and "Wind" for the front wings.
• "Renault a choisi ELF" sticker for the rear window.
• Jean Ragnotti signature, in black or white, for a Renault Sport touch.
• "Twingo" keyrings in several colours, STICK-IN creations inspired by the lettering.

Identify your Twingo before ordering

The tailgate lettering differs depending on whether your Twingo was built before or after October 2004: the first registration date on the logbook settles it. For a special-edition logo, look for the outline left by the old sticker or compare with a period photo, then clean the area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before fitting, on bodywork at room temperature.

Every decal is made to order in France within 3 to 7 days: faithful reproductions by youngtimer enthusiasts.
