305

The Peugeot 305, a family car worth rediscovering

Launched in 1977, the 305 took over from the 304 with crisp lines and comfortable front-wheel drive, offered as a saloon and then an estate. The 1982 facelift was a milestone: phase 2 gained a modernised presentation and introduced the new XU engine family, which went on to power much of the Peugeot range. Late in its career, the 305 GTX and its 1.9-litre even added a sporty touch. It left the catalogue at the end of the 1980s.

Long seen as a simple everyday car, the 305 now attracts enthusiasts who appreciate its comfort, toughness and period charm. Well-preserved examples are getting rare, and the small presentation details, often neglected for decades, make the difference on a restored car.

Our stickers for the Peugeot 305

The 305 selection brings together technical labels shared by several Peugeots of the period and keyrings for the model's loyal fans:

• Cooling circuit label, a faithful reproduction of the period label.
• Shell / Esso oil cap label, for a consistent engine bay.
• "Spark plug spanner" warning, the technical label people often forget to replace.
• "305" keyring, featuring the model's badge, a STICK-IN creation in soft PVC.
• Peugeot keyrings: PTS stripes and logo, 1980s lion.

Choosing the right engine labels

On a 305, engine bay labels depend on the phase and the engine: an early engine is not presented the same way as a phase 2 XU. Before ordering, photograph your engine, look for traces of the old labels and compare them with the pictures on our product pages. Then apply them to a cleaned, fully degreased surface with the engine cold, pressing the edges down well so the adhesive withstands fumes and heat.

Faithful reproductions and creations, made to order in France by Peugeot enthusiasts.
