Twingo 2

The Twingo 2: from practical city car to pocket rocket

Launched in 2007, the second-generation Twingo dropped the original one-box shape for a more conventional city car, but kept the sliding rear bench that made its predecessor so clever. It was built in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, until 2014, and received a mid-life facelift that notably changed the front end.

The range includes versions that increasingly appeal to enthusiasts: the Twingo GT, powered by the small 100 hp 1.2 TCe turbo, and above all the Twingo Renault Sport, with its 133 hp 1.6-litre sixteen-valve engine, now a small benchmark among fans of lightweight hot hatches. On these versions, the specific markings are often damaged or missing.

Our stickers for the Renault Twingo 2

The selection covers the exterior, the cabin and an accessory for your keys:

• "Twingo" boot badge for the 2007 to 2014 Twingo 2;
• Front bumper "GT" sticker, next to the fog lamp, for the Twingo GT;
• Pair of Renault Sport dashboard stickers, shared by the Twingo, Clio and Mégane RS of the same era;
• "Twingo" badge keyring, designed by STICK-IN.

Replacing a boot badge without damaging the paint

On a Twingo 2, the tailgate badge suffers from washing and UV. Before removing it, run a guide line of masking tape under the lettering and mark each end. Soften the old adhesive with a hair dryer, slide fishing line behind it to lift it without metal tools, then remove any glue residue with a suitable product. Degrease, line the new badge up with your marks, press firmly, and peel the transfer tape off slowly by folding it back on itself.

These faithful reproductions are made to order in France within 3 to 7 days by enthusiasts of Renaults of every generation.
