The “Twingo” tailgate badge of the Renault Twingo 1, Phases 1 to 3 (1992 – September 2004).

On the tailgate of the first Twingo, the silver grey “Twingo” badge often ends up damaged by car washes and sunlight. We have remade it from a new Renault decal, faithful to the original, for Twingos built from 1992 to September 2004.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Hold the decal in place with its clear transfer tape, adjust its position (a strip of masking tape makes a handy hinge), peel off the backing sheet, then squeegee from the centre outwards. Finally peel the transfer tape off slowly, folding it back flat on itself.

Avoid pressure washing for the first few days. Fitting instructions are included with every order.
