The matt black rear window “TURBO” of the Renault 5 Alpine Turbo (April 1982 – 1984), Renault 5 Turbo 2 and Maxi Turbo.

Fitted on the outside of the rear window, this matt black “TURBO” lettering is one of the hallmarks of the Renault 5 Alpine Turbo. This version matches cars from April 1982 to 1984: it is cut from a through-coloured matt black film and supplied with application tape for perfect alignment.

Good to know

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Hold the decal in place with its clear transfer tape, adjust its position (a strip of masking tape makes a handy hinge), peel off the backing sheet, then squeegee from the centre outwards. Finally peel the transfer tape off slowly, folding it back flat on itself.

Avoid pressure washing for the first few days. Fitting instructions are included with every order.
