Stripe kit with pinstripes, striped “A5” and “TURBO” – R5 Alpine Turbo (late 1981-April 1982)

The complete livery of the very first Renault 5 Alpine Turbos (late 1981 – April 1982): side stripes, striped “A5” logos and rear window “TURBO”.

The first Renault 5 Alpine Turbos kept the striped “A5” rear wing logos of the naturally aspirated Alpine. This kit recreates the entire exterior livery of that short period, at the original dimensions, with the matt black rear window “TURBO” fitted on the outside, as originally.

Good to know

• Choice of colour: red, silver grey or black (red by default). The rear window “TURBO” is always matt black.
• For Alpine Turbos from April 1982 to 1984 (“TURBO” logos on the wings), choose the other Alpine Turbo kit.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Hold the decal in place with its clear transfer tape, adjust its position (a strip of masking tape makes a handy hinge), peel off the backing sheet, then squeegee from the centre outwards. Finally peel the transfer tape off slowly, folding it back flat on itself.

Avoid pressure washing for the first few days. Fitting instructions are included with every order.
