“TURBO” rear window sticker – Renault 5 Alpine Turbo (1981-1982), Turbo 1

The black rear window “TURBO” of the first Renault 5 Alpine Turbos (late 1981 – April 1982) and the Renault 5 Turbo.

The first Renault 5 Alpine Turbos, still wearing the “A5” logos on their wings, have their own “TURBO” lettering on the rear window. It has been redrawn from a new original decal, to match its proportions exactly.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Hold the decal in place with its clear transfer tape, adjust its position (a strip of masking tape makes a handy hinge), peel off the backing sheet, then squeegee from the centre outwards. Finally peel the transfer tape off slowly, folding it back flat on itself.

Avoid pressure washing for the first few days. Fitting instructions are included with every order.
