Restoration sticker for the red “Mi16” badge – Peugeot 405 (up to 1990)

The renovation decal for the red “Mi16” badge of the Peugeot 405 Mi16.

The sporty version of the 405, the Mi16 owes its name to its 16-valve 1.9 engine, signed at the rear by a raised “Mi16” badge. Over time, the red of the badge flakes or fades. This red decal, cut to the exact size of the original badge, is applied directly on top of it to bring back its shine.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Hold the decal in place with its clear transfer tape, adjust its position (a strip of masking tape makes a handy hinge), peel off the backing sheet, then squeegee from the centre outwards. Finally peel the transfer tape off slowly, folding it back flat on itself.

Avoid pressure washing for the first few days. Fitting instructions are included with every order.
