The “Alternateur / Batterie” (alternator / battery) technical label from Peugeot engine bays.

Found under the bonnet of many Peugeots from the 1970s to the 90s, this small warning label is one of the details that count in a faithful restoration. It is printed in high definition and laminated to cope with engine heat.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Under the bonnet, work on a cold engine and degrease well: oil vapour prevents adhesion.

Peel the decal from its backing sheet by one edge, position it, then apply it from the centre outwards to push out any air.

Fitting instructions are included with every order.
