The “28° / 3500” airflow meter label of post-1990 205 GTI 1.6 and 1.9 models.

From 1990, the airflow meter of the 205 GTI 1.6 and 1.9 carries a “28° / 3500” adjustment label. This reproduction restores the original marking for a correct engine bay.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Under the bonnet, work on a cold engine and degrease well: oil vapour prevents adhesion.

Peel the decal from its backing sheet by one edge, position it, then apply it from the centre outwards to push out any air.
