2 silver grey side pinstripes – Renault 19 phase 1 (1988-May 1992)

The silver-grey side pinstripes of the Renault 19 16S phase 1, 3-door, 5-door or convertible.

On the first-phase Renault 19 16S, a thin silver-grey pinstripe runs along each side. Over the years and through bodywork repairs, it peels off or disappears. This kit supplies the pinstripe in two 2-metre lengths, to be trimmed on your car, whatever the body style.

Good to know

• The pinstripe is supplied in lengths: you cut it at the doors and ends once in place.
• Use a stretched strip of masking tape as a guide for a perfectly straight line from end to end.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Peel the decal from its backing sheet by one edge, position it, then apply it from the centre outwards to push out any air.

Avoid pressure washing for the first few days. Fitting instructions are included with every order.
