Faithful reproduction, not an original manufacturer part.

This sticker is a STICK-IN remake, true (or very close) to the original: dimensions, lettering and colours taken from period parts. We are enthusiasts first and foremost: every item starts from a restoration need.

“Champion du monde des rallyes 1985 et 1986” (World Rally Champion 1985 and 1986): the 205 Turbo 16's titles on your rear window.

After the 205 Turbo 16's two world manufacturers' titles, Peugeot celebrated the victory even on the rear window of its production cars. Our reproduction recreates the white lettering as an inside-glass decal: applied from the inside, it reads the right way round from outside.

Contents

  • 1 “Champion du monde des rallyes 1985 et 1986” decal (white)

Good to know

  • Unlike the original, there is no clear backing film (it aged badly): only the white lettering remains on the glass.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

This decal is applied from the inside, on the inner face of the glass: it reads the right way round from outside.

Hold the decal in place with its clear transfer tape, adjust its position (a strip of masking tape makes a handy hinge), peel off the backing sheet, then squeegee from the centre outwards. Finally peel the transfer tape off slowly, folding it back flat on itself.

Fitting instructions are included with every order.

Faithful reproduction made by STICK-IN, a French workshop specialising in car restoration decals since 2015. This is not an original manufacturer part: above all, we are enthusiasts.
