On the driver's door shut of the Clio Williams and 16S/16V (except 1991), this label listed the fuels permitted at the time of the switch to unleaded: “Super (Plombé 97)” (leaded super, 97 octane) is crossed out. A touch of authenticity that connoisseurs check by opening the door.

Fitting tips

Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly (isopropyl alcohol or a mild degreaser), then let it dry: it must be clean, smooth and dry, ideally between 15 and 25 °C.

Peel the decal from its backing sheet by one edge, position it, then apply it from the centre outwards to push out any air.
